Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter Sunday! I always enjoy this time of year. Of course, it is a good time to take personal assessment of my life, my relationship with my Savior and the sacrifice He made for me. It also means the "coming to life" of His many creations after a long winter. I enjoy the budding trees, new flowers, work in the yard and garden and seeing the new baby animals! It is all beautiful to me and is my favorite season of the year.

We are happy to have Brigham with us this year. He has been going to come up to stay for a few days since before Christmas. It just never could be worked out until now ... he is on spring break from school and the time just seemed right. Because he is here, we were visited by the Easter Bunny for the first time in many years! It was fun watching as Brigham searched for eggs and his basket. It brought back old memories when our kids were that age.

We spent yesterday afternoon with Caitlin and Carter coloring and decorating eggs. It is so fun to have grandkids and to spend times like this with them.

The builders of the subdivision behind us have begun with the houses. It is so sad to see the changes. I am going to miss being able to look out, see the temple (when other houses go up), enjoy watching the ducks, geese, pheasants and yes .... even the rockchucks! I am usually not against change ... but this is a hard one to accept. It just doesn't seem like the place we have known as "home" for nearly 15 years.

How fast a place can change in a few days

We have put the house up for sale again and hopefully it will go this time. We would like to find a place with a little property and seclusion somewhere between here and Ogden so that Mike won't have to travel Sardine Canyon during the winter.
